DPRG white papers on communication indicators

The white papers of the DPRG task force “Value Creation through Communication" on value drivers, value links and KPIs in communication were developed from 2005 to early 2007. The Kaplan Nortan Strategy Map and Balanced Scorecard methods served as a basic framework. The objective of the project is to promote consensus and convergence with indicators in strategic communications controlling.

Read the DPRG white papers (PDF) on communication value drivers, value links and KPIs  in the following areas and add to the discussion:

Theoretical foundation (PDF) - what needs to be discussed? Say what you think!

Internal Communications (PDF) - what needs to be discussed? Say what you think!

External Communications (PDF) - your opinion? Say what you think!

Financial Communication (PDF) - constructive criticism? Say what you think!

Marketing Communication (PDF) - feedback? Say what you think!

Developed with a modified Delphi method

To create the broadest possible consensus, the white papers were developed using a modified Delphi method. In this process, initial drafts were annotated successively by further experts. Their input was then condensed to a common position by the editor in chief in close cooperation with the experts. This method ensures that the white papers reflect the current state of the art on a discussion topic and provide a robust basis for implementing measures.

This project is intended to stimulate expert debate and add to quality. The authors of the KPI papers and the “Value Creation” task force welcome feedback on these white papers. A beta version will reflect the outcomes of the discusson process. This will contribute to further optimization of the convergence and robustness of the papers. Please support our work by inputting your feedback to the forums discussing the white papers.
