Prof. Wolfgang Jäger has been professor of business administration specializing in human resources, corporate governance and media management on the media management degree program at RheinMain University (the former Wiesbaden University of Applied Sciences) since 1995. He had previously been professor and founding dean of the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, specializing in corporate culture and organization development.
Prof. Jäger gathered industry experience as a human resources, marketing and advertising executive with a mail order company. He became managing partner of Dr. Jäger Management-Beratung (consultants) and DJM Consulting GmbH – both based in Königstein im Taunus – in 1990.
His main specialism is optimization of human capital and communication-related processes and structures, with the main focus on topics such as communication controlling, human resources communication, human resources marketing and human capital reporting. Prof. Jäger conducts a large number of consulting and industry projects in these areas, frequently heads congresses and conferences and writes numerous experts articles and books.
In 2009, “Personalmagazin” human resources journal numbered him for the fourth time among the top 10 consultants in the journal’s “Leading minds in human resources“ rankings.
