How can measuring and evaluating communication be made relevant and put into practice? That’s a question, communication researchers and practitioners have been dealing with for years. The international Association for the Measurement and Evaluation of Communication (AMEC) puts this challenge at the heart of the AMEC Summit 2016.

Under the slogan “Making Metrics Matter – Taking Measurement Mainstream” the international conference will take place in London, 15 - 16 June 2016. Whereas communication controlling in Germany focuses on how communication contributes to value creation, AMEC stresses evaluation of specific programmes.

The AMEC summit will address the key business issue that organizations and companies have of making communication measurement a regular and common part of their communications work. The summit will combine learning sessions, insights into current practices and debates on future trends as well as on next steps to take. The two-day programme includes presentations from communication professionals, panel discussions with high level panellists and interactive workshops. A wide range of aspects will be presented and discussed: From “Beyond Share of Voice – How new-style metrics got the attention of senior management” to “Measurement across cultures and time zones” to “Operationalizing the Barcelona Principles – The AMEC interactive integrated metrics framework”.

The AMEC Summit is known as one of the biggest conferences on communication measurement and 250 attendees from around 30 countries are expected. Please klick here to register and get further information.
