Spanish translation of the Dictionary of Public Relations Measurement and Research’s third edition

The third edition of the Institute’s for Public Relations Dictionary of Public Relations Measurement and Research is now available in Spanish. Jennie Peña from the University Del Norte in Barranquilla in Columbia translated the 34-page third edition of the Dictionary, which had been published in October 2013.

Hence, the latest edition of the Dictionary, which should ensure more sophisticated and standardized definitions for many central concepts of research and measurement, is now also accessible for Spanish-speaking areas. communicationcontrolling.de already reported on the new edition of the lexicon in this article.

Third edition adds social media terms

The updated and expanded edition of the Dictionary picks up on the current international discussion on Social Media Measurement, which gains importance. Social media terms like Cloud or Retweet Velocity are added and defined in order to bring about a common understanding. Professor Don Stacks from the University of Miami and Professor Shannon Bowen from the University of South Carolina publish the well-known lexicon.

About the Dictionary of Public Relations Measurement and Research

The first edition of the Dictionary was published in 2002 and has became one of the most popular papers published by the Institute for Public Relations. In addition to the editors Dr. Don Stacks and Dr. Shannon Bowen, international academic and professional PR researchers were also part of the Dictionary Editorial Board: Pauline Draper-Watts, Dr. David Geddes, Fraser Likely, Dr. Jim Macnamara, Dr. David Michaelson und Dr. Don Wright.
